One of their finest songs ever. So English it hurts ! Why does Roger feel that he needs so many people on stage for his shows ? Trim it down, unplugged style. Good work by the Gilmour impersonator. Not complaining, but how about shrinking the stage for God’s sake.

Good attempt, but this song just isnt as goid as with gilmours voice and guitar.

Who’s the creepy guitarist? The strings are upside down (ascending is descending and oposite). Good pose for a medium level guitarist.

The guitar player is not playing it tuned a whole step down like Gilmour does. Wow, the electric lead player is playing a right handed guitar upside down. That has got to be tuff not strung for a lefty. About impossible.

@TomBoston191 I wouldnt consider this a try. Its the best live version of dogs i have ever seen. I saw Gilmore and friends on the MLOR tour and have heard many old Pink Floyd live recordings. This is the best version of this song save the album. Sucks Gilmore and Roger cant resolve their problems.
Although this isnt Pink Floyd, its the closest I will ever come to the real deal, post the Final Cut.

Nice try.
This was pretty good (better than I expected, actually), but it just reinforces how utterly irreplaceable David Gilmour really is.
Those are some mighty big shoes to fill, and though this guy gave it a valiant effort, he fell pretty short of the mark.

For me, it’s when Waters and his right hand man looks over at the kid, and smiles, together, the both of them and moving left to right…………………………knowing that Doyle
as he chews gum and plays the entire 3 leads open( from memory ) etc…………………..from the recordings he heard on the albums. Like we heard them.
And to have him sing the last stanza………………well, as Pink Floyd always did, move us.
