I could sit back and watch this whole film from start to finish all day, every day, its just so powerful and moving, I can relate almost all of it to my own life. This is a masterpiece.

One of my favorite movies. Best of the “concept album” movies hands down.

hehe this part is about a boy whos never knew/seen his father because it died in war.. well its more about how war destroys each one of us
- PS , im just a typical 20 year old office guy who never tried drugs but alcohol sex, and rock n roll XD
May 30th, 2010 at 9:05 pm
So wrong. It can be a bit artsy…but drugs, like most Floyd albums, have nothing to do with it. that first song is not on the album The Wall. The album is about isolation, which leads to quasi-insanity (a la Sid Barret)…its about de-humanization. This happens because his dad dies in WWII, bad education, an overbearing mother, an unfaithful wife….and then side 2 starts…”hey you” is a cry for help…just give it a chance…the music/lyrics/message is unreal when you get it.
