    I love David Gilmour’s playing and Dave Kilminster’s as well. He did a great job here. Not an easy pair of shoes to step into.

    @johnyzildjian My feelings exactly. I like The Division Bell, but I think you would agree that anybody that doesn’t recognize Gilmour’s voice wouldn’t be able to tell it was Pink Floyd album. Although I like the Division Bell, it is not even in the same galaxy as Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Meddle, etc.I like both of them in their respective roles. Waters as the lead singer and bass player and Gilmour as the lead guitar. Waters took a lot with him when he left.

  9. johnyzildjian Says:

    @smithnya
    Pink Floyd are like a painting. Barrett was the main body, Waters added lines and shapes, and Gilmour put in the colours Pink Floyd wouldn’t have been what they are today if one of those men didn’t exist. In albums like The Devision Bell where Waters left, they lacked of that political side and seriousness that Waters brought in. So are you a Waters or a Gilmour fan? I say love em both.

    I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon

    He certainly isn’t Gilmour, but I think he did a great job still. Sadly, no guitarist could ever live up to David.

    I saw this live in St. Paul. It gave me goosebumps then, and still gives me goosebumps today. Haunting. One of my fav’s. Thanks for sharing. Amazing video!

  13. smithnya Says:

    @gatorlover93 Yup, it gives me goose bumps every time.

  14. smithnya Says:

    Man I really missed Waters. I love the sound of that unrefined voice. Gilmour is number 1 on the guitar but there is just no way he could pull off some of the songs Waters can like “Don’t Leave Me Now.” No disrespect to Gilmour, but without Waters I kinda saw them as Pink Floyd Light.

  15. magicmichele2 Says:

    Gilmour voice and guitar for ever !!!!

  16. nyses Says:

    @gatorlover93 Totally

  17. RadioRoswellTV Says:

    I like how at the end he gives the solo respect….a bow with hands together at the crowd..as if to say..yeah..that is THEE best solo in the world..and I an honored to have played it for you…I think it showed great respect for Gilmour’s creation.

  18. ravner1976 Says:

    There is only 1 Gilmore. We all know it. But you can’t deny this guitarists chops. I salute this entire band.

  19. SkyArchitecture Says:

    where is the band? i miss them here…

  20. gatorlover93 Says:

    5:50 most epic moment ever seeing it live

  21. Bluesub6 Says:

    You have to respect the fact that Roger clearly billed this as a “Roger Waters” solo concert. He’s not capitalizing on Pink Floyd, and let’s be honest, PF made alot of money on Roger’s music long after Roger was no longer in the band.

  22. andresihotang Says:

    @Adominae in this song no. BUt check at Run Like Hell, I suspect it is pre-recorded

  23. lobsanC Says:
